CSK vs RR IPL 2023: Sanju Samson fined Rs 12 lakh, know the whole matter

Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson was fined Rs 12 lakh for slow over-rate during their Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Chennai Super Kings.

Slow over-rate is again becoming a big issue in IPL with most of the matches stretching for more than four hours.

The IPL said in a statement, “This is the team’s first offense related to slow over rate under the IPL Code of Conduct, therefore captain Sanju Samson has been fined Rs 12 lakh.”

Chennai Super Kings were defeated by three runs in this match drawn till the last ball in Rajasthan. This is Rajasthan’s third win in four matches while Chennai suffered their second defeat this season.
