Pulitzer Prize-winning American journalist Seymour Hersh said that US military leaders would prepare a draft agreement to end the crisis in Ukraine, which could then be offered to Russia in the event of “its defeat”.
“I was told that two months ago the Joint Chiefs of Staff had tasked the staff members – the military term ‘set the task’ – to write a draft treaty for the end of the war to be provided to the Russians after their defeat in the battle in Ukraine”, the journalist’s material, published on his page on the Substack platform.
In addition, Hersh noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, along with his entourage, illegally appropriated at least $400 million of funds intended for the purchase of diesel. Moreover, according to the journalist, CIA chief William Burns, in a meeting with Zelenskyy in January, provided him with a list of 35 Ukrainian generals and officials whose corruption is known to Washington.
Earlier, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow had no doubts that the United States or NATO were directly or indirectly involved in the conflict.
