MP Andrey Kartapolov called those unhappy with the electronic summons “propindos riffraff”. He made such a statement on the air of the 60 Minutes program on the Russia 1 television channel.

“The reaction of the ‘propindos riffraff’ to the adoption of the law on electronic subpoenas and the register of persons liable for military service in social networks is uplifting,” said the chairman of the State Duma committee Russian Kartapolov.

He said he reviewed a number of documents on the web today and was pleased that the howl rose against the resources of the opposition and semi-opposition, calling those disgruntled from “propindos riff-raff”. Kartapolov is sure that such a reaction confirms the correctness of the decision.

Earlier it became known that on April 11, State Duma deputies passed a resounding law on military registration reform in Russia. From now on, those liable for military service will not only receive paper summonses, but also electronic summonses to the drafting committee.
