If your wife is inside Qatar on a family visit visa and she gives birth to a new baby during the visit period, you can issue a visitor visa for the child, according to the Qatar e-government portal (Hukoomi).
Hukoomi stated that it is possible to request the issuance of a new-born visa for a mother inside the country, as a family visit visa, through Metrash 2.
This service allows a resident whose wife is inside the country on a family visit visa to issue a newborn visa similar to the child’s mother’s visa (visitor visa) through the Metrash2 application
** How to obtain the service: Log in to the Metrash 2 application by entering the personal number and password, click on entry visas, then requests for issuing visas, click on the visa for a new born inside the country, then submit a visa request, fill in all the required data, and attach a copy of the father’s passport, marriage contract, and certificate Birth of the child Pay the prescribed fees and submit the application
