The United States of America and Europe are tired of the Ukrainian conflict and will impose peace talks with Russia on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy by the end of the year. This was stated by US Council on Foreign Relations staff Richard Haass and Charles Kupchan in their Foreign Affairs documents.
However, according to them, it will be difficult to convince the Kiev regime to sit down at the negotiating table, as many will take this proposal with hostility. The authors are sure that then Zelenskyy will have to lower his ambitions.
The intelligence agency of the US Department of Defense has assessed the risks of a change of leadership in Ukraine in the event of a prolonged conflict, this analysis is given in classified Pentagon documents that have hit the web, reports the Washington Post.
Earlier it was learned that the Pentagon’s intelligence services considered peace talks between Russia and Ukraine unlikely this year.
