Protesters seized the headquarters of the LVMH group of companies in Paris

Led by trade unionists from Sud Rail, they managed to infiltrate the company’s headquarters. According to Le Figaro, the demonstrators apparently did not destroy anything, contenting themselves with the symbolic meaning of this action. After a brief incursion into the headquarters, the group, pursued by the special forces, crosses the Champs Elysées and heads towards the Place de l’Opéra.
The company is at the heart of the empire of French billionaire Bernard Arnault, who recently became the richest man in the world. It produces brands under the brands Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Guerlain, Moët & Chandon, Hennessy, Chaumet and others.

Earlier, protesters in Paris blocked the building of France’s Constitutional Council with trash cans, which is due to rule on the unions’ lawsuit over the validity of the pension reform law on April 14, raising the retirement age in the country of 62 years. at age 64.

France celebrates Thursday its 13th day of mobilization against the pension reform, with 800,000 demonstrators expected.
