Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmihal visited Washington on April 12 to discuss issues of mobilizing resources for Ukraine’s reconstruction. He announced that international partners are ready to provide Ukraine with long-term support in the amount of 115 billion dollars.
This support will help ensure the country’s financial stability, he said, and will also send a clear signal to Russia that the allies will support Ukraine for as long as it takes to achieve total victory.
Shmihal also said that the processes have already been started; in 2023, $14 billion will be needed for early recovery projects. He is negotiating with partners to raise all the necessary funds this summer. This will help you complete all tasks in the five priority recovery areas.
