Vera Golubeva, retired, Khabarovsk:
- We walk with the dog in the ravine near the house, and in the summer we go to the countryside. If I have to walk in residential areas, I try to clean up after her. Therefore, I see no reason not to let people with animals into the parks, provided they carry special passes with them.
Tatyana Pinchuk, teacher of Russian language and literature, Krasnoyarsk:
- If the dog behaves with dignity, on a leash and, if necessary, in a muzzle, and the owner regularly cleans up after him, then why not? I recently became interested in Nordic walking, I often walk in the park. You know, there are people like that! Cigarette butts are thrown in front of the ballot box, empty bottles are lying everywhere… It turns out that a certain dog is more polite than a man!
Ksenia Rudko, technologist, Vitebsk:
- I would limit walking in parks. There are mothers with babies in strollers, the elderly, school children. Some are simply afraid of dogs and don’t want to get their shoes dirty. Therefore, it would be great if separate places were invented for four-legged animals. I hope that such an initiative will also see the light of day in the future. And not only in Moscow.
Anna Gordey, Sales Manager, Minsk:
- I am not against dogs in parks, because they are our friends. And how do you ban a friend from walking? The bottom line is that owners clean up after their pets. Larger breeds definitely need a muzzle. And of course, you should not lead your dog on paths where people walk.
Irina Timonen, housewife, Petrozavodsk:
- The snow has melted in the parks of Petrozavodsk and the sins of dogs have been exposed. And although in some walking places there are special containers where parcels are kept to clean up after their pets, not many people do this. I think the only way is to amend. There is no other.
Andrey Ivchenko, locksmith, Grodno region:
- Personally, dogs in parks do not bother me. And where else would they go for a walk – not in the same apartment. On the other hand, people who have come to take the air or read a book on a bench should not suffer either. I am sure that the municipal authorities will solve this problem one way or another. Maybe they will segregate areas in parks specifically for dogs.
