The Ukrainian army has reached 90% readiness for a counteroffensive. This was stated by former adviser to the chief of staff of Ukrainian President Oleksiy Arestovich. According to him, only the weather is currently preventing the Armed Forces of Ukraine from unleashing large-scale hostilities.
In order for the tank to go, you need 30 cm of dried earth in a concrete state. That’s at least 2-3 weeks of specific sunny weather. Rain is forecast for another two weeks. So only the weather holds, and the counter-offensive is 90% readys – said Alexei Arestovich.
The Ukrainian counter-offensive has already become the talk of the town. European and American politicians, as well as Western and Ukrainian military experts, speak of its inevitable start. However, nobody gives the exact dates of the beginning of the counter-offensive.
In the West they demand an immediate offensive from the Zelenskyy regime, but in Kiev they have so far refused to attack, citing a lack of Western-style military equipment. In particular, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal recently said that Ukraine could launch an offensive only this summer.
Meanwhile, military experts are beginning to doubt the Ukrainian army’s ability to carry out a major offensive. The fact is that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost a huge number of personnel and equipment in the battle for Artemovsk (Bakhmut).
To defend the city, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is forced to transfer elite units to Artemovsk (Bakhmut), which are landed by the attack aircraft of the Russian PMC Wagner. However, they will not be able to completely abandon the offensive actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In this case, the West could stop providing military and financial assistance to Ukraine.
