The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare told here on Friday that 11109 new people have been infected with Covid during the last 24 hours in the country. With this, the number of Covid infected has increased to 49622 and the infection rate has been recorded at 5.01 percent.
According to the ministry, in the last 24 hours, 6456 people have been cured of Covid infection. The recovery rate is 98.70 percent. During this, 221725 Covid infected have been screened. During the last 24 hours, 457 Covid vaccines have been administered. With this, more than 220.66 crore Covid vaccines have been administered in the country.
