In response to the question of the editor-in-chief of Qatari media.. The Prime Minister: Plans to develop the educational and health system and improve government performance

His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, affirmed providing the best level of service because it is a major factor for the economy and the growth of the state.

And in an interview with Qatar TV, in response to a question from colleague Jaber Al-Harami, Editor-in-Chief, about the plans of the state ministries to keep pace with what Qatar has achieved in hosting the World Cup and investing this great momentum, and what is the government’s priority during the next stage, and the level of satisfaction with government performance? His Excellency said: “The World Cup is a starting point and not the final destination. Today, the investment of this success lies entirely with the government, the private sector and the people. As for the plans that we focus on today, as I mentioned, there are three main axes. First, the interest in the educational and health system in providing the best level And addressing all the problems and challenges it is going through. The other point is to focus on improving government performance, and providing the best level of service because it is a major factor for the economy and the growth of the state.

His Excellency added: “There are many initiatives, some of which have been discussed, and officials will talk about them in the future. With regard to the economy and how to benefit from it, we focus on the sectors that have been mentioned, and there are other sectors that will be included in the third national development plan in the coming months, and they contain stimulus programs. and stimulating and developing exports. He continued, “We are seeking a competitive private sector, not only in the State of Qatar, but a global competitor, and this competition requires the state to set the appropriate regulatory frameworks for it, and be a catalyst for and support these companies.”

His Excellency said: “Doha is a small market compared to other global markets, and we also encourage Qatari companies to export their services and products to global markets, and the state will seek to open these global markets to Qatari companies.”

Regarding the extent of satisfaction with the government’s performance, His Excellency said: “They did not fail.. but we always aspire for more and for the better.. There are challenges and there are shortcomings in some of the services provided today.. We hope that the government of Qatar will always be distinguished in providing the best level of service to all.”
