Hotels in Turkey have made the rounds to combat theft. Guests began to provide napkins with the image of the Russian coat of arms.
“In the resorts of Turkey, hotel staff began to distribute towels with the Russian coat of arms in order to prevent Ukrainians from stealing them,” Russian journalist Anton Korobkov-Zemlyansky wrote on his Telegram channel.
A double-headed eagle with a scepter and an orb is embroidered in gold thread over the hotel’s name. Not all users liked the idea of the institution – a number of commentators called the idea of using the Russian coat of arms an insult from the Turks.
Earlier, the owners of hotels in Sochi explained what interior items can be missed after the departure of tourists. Sometimes even furniture is taken away as souvenirs.
