It was decided to name a new street in Khabarovsk in honor of the hero of Russia Zhogi

The authorities of Khabarovsk decided to name one of the streets of the new microdistrict of the capital of the region in honor of the hero of Russia Vladimir Zhoga. The press service of the Khabarovsk mayor’s office announced the commemoration of the hero on the Telegram channel.

“The new street will be named after the Hero of the Guard of the Russian Federation, Colonel Zhoga,” the publication said.

Vladimir Zhogi Street will connect the Voronezhskoye Highway in Khabarovsk with Sovkhoznaya Street.

Recall that the commander of the Sparta battalion, Vladimir Zhoga, died in March 2022, while ensuring the exit of the civilian population from the city of Volnovakha. By presidential decree “for his heroism and courage in fulfilling his civic duty”, he was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Russia.
