Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Johnny Depp’s Ex-Wife Slams Amber Heard – ‘What She Did Was Absolutely Brutal’

The first woman with whom actor Johnny Depp entered into a sacred marriage was Lori Allison. They married in 1983 when she was 25 and Depp was 20. They divorced two years later citing irreconcilable differences.

Lori has now come forward on the Popcorned Planet podcast where she was asked to give her thoughts on actress Amber Heard, who was also married to Johnny Depp and wrote a memorable Washington Post article in which she implied that Depp was an abuser.

Depp sued Amber for defamation and the proceedings were broadcast live in court. The world watched and divided into factions depending on whether people believed Amber or believed Depp. A media circus also started where bad words were said about Amber and she was ridiculed and mocked on social media. The court case focused heavily on the alleged domestic violence charges, and in the end, the jury found that the allegations against Depp could not be substantiated based on the documents presented in the case.

The one that cannot be named

Lori Allison called Amber “the one who must not be named” on the podcast. She said when Amber and Depp first met, she loved the actress.

“I had met her before, been to parties at his house. She worked really well and looked beautiful – what’s not to love about that? But over time I started hearing things about her – her who shouldn’t be named – he didn’t seem too happy at the time I don’t see him often so can’t say much .”

Lori says she followed the trial.

“What touched me the most were the things he said in court. I probably snapped a few times because I felt so good with him.”

Lori said her ex-husband prefers to keep his life private. But it would have been the right decision for him to open the file and explain his version.

“I thought it was either going to be a huge train wreck or it was going to be just fine.” ”

I walked around the floor crying in fear

Lori said while the case was ongoing, she had been in touch with Depp’s friends to find out how things were going. Sometimes she walked on the floor crying because she was so scared for him.

“I think he might have gotten away with it, or maybe not, but it broke my heart that someone could do this to him,” Lori said of Amber.

“I’m no angel. I’ve done my share of nasty things to people, but what she did was absolutely brutal and if I could have done anything legal to her, I would have done it.”

As previously mentioned, Depp won his lawsuit against Amber and was awarded $10 million in damages. Amber then had to sell her home in California to pay off her debts. She asked the judge to reject the jury’s findings, saying their conclusions were not based on evidence.

Depp hailed the verdict, describing it as a jury that gave him back his life.
