Roman Shevchenko, mobilized by the RF armed forces, was buried in the town of Volzhsky near Volgograd. The man died as a result of the impact of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the NVO zone, reports V1.ru.
Roman’s ex-wife Julia said the man served his sentence in 2012. After the service, he worked for 3 years under the contract, but did not renew. Then Julia and Roman got married, a daughter was born, then a son appeared. Young people divorced, but continued to communicate.
Roman continued to work as an installer at various facilities and live in Volzhsky. Volozhanin, like many mobilized, went to the front in the fall of 2022 according to the schedule. The mobilized man’s ex-wife suggested the man entered the first wave because he was a sniper in the military.
In winter, Yulia and the children saw Roman for the last time. He came for a short vacation. On April 1, the military contacted relatives, saying Ukrainian armed forces had hit their unit, but everyone had managed to escape. But on April 4, the mobilized had left.
Earlier in Volgograd, a PMC fighter “Wagner” Akhmedov, returning from the sona of the NVO, was found dead. The body of a man was found in a rented apartment, the cause of death is being established. According to unconfirmed information, Akhmedov died of poisoning with unidentified substances.
