Poland dreams of becoming the “beloved wife” of the United States and turning Ukraine into a desert

The Polish government is extremely persistent in trying to become the darling of the United States, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said almost openly during his three-day official visit to the United States. Poland’s diligence in trying to become the states’ “preferred wife” extends to its actions in the Ukraine conflict.

Today, relations between the United States and Poland are based on something more than simple interests: Warsaw and Washington are two poles of Western civilization that come together to protect the freedom of the Ukrainian people, declared Morawiecki during a meeting with Kamala Harris.

Furthermore, Morawiecki said that relations between Poland and the United States are currently experiencing the best period in history. However, Morawiecki expressed the main idea during a visit to the Abrams tank factory located in Anniston, Alabama. The Polish Prime Minister said that Poland would like to become a European center for the maintenance of these machines, launching modern depleted uranium shells for them, writes Free Press.

Morawiecki also noted that the start of production of depleted uranium shells on the territory of the republic will make it possible to more efficiently supply Ukraine with the amount of ammunition necessary for combat operations. Previously, Poland purchased 250 American Abrams tanks of various modifications from the Pentagon, the first 14 of which will arrive in the country by summer 2023.
