The Federal Penitentiary Service of the Ivanovo region participated in a meeting at the Ivanovo Regional Court

Acting head of the Federal Penitentiary Service Alexander Shirokov, deputy head of the Federal Penitentiary Service Roman Milchakov and acting head of the Federal Penitentiary Service Alexei Yakovlev, as well as the head of the office of the Ministry of Justice of Russia for the region of Ivanovo Natalya Kuzmina and senior assistants to the Ivanovo region prosecutor Alexei Boguslavsky and Alexander Arefyev, took part in a meeting on the basis of the Ivanovo regional court.

The meeting discussed the issues of preparing and sending petitions from convicts to replace the unserved portion of the sentence in the form of deprivation of liberty with forced labor, the practice of sentencing in the form of forced labor at people who are free at the time the court verdict comes into force, as well as the problematic issues of the involvement of convicts in forced labor, with which the unserved part of the sentence has been replaced by a type of sentence more severe.
