US intelligence services suspect China of secretly supplying weapons to Russian armed forces

US intelligence has accused China of planning to supply arms to Russia under a veil of secrecy, hiding behind civilian supplies. According to the American edition of the Washington Post, China planned to transfer military equipment to the Russian Federation.

Information about the supply of equipment from China to Russia is mentioned in the “secret documents” of the Pentagon, in which the interception of intelligence data from the RF armed forces was cited. US intelligence agencies obtained the information on February 23 and it was compiled by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

According to the Washington Post, China’s military commission “has approved additional supplies” of weapons for the Russian military, but wants to keep this information secret. At the same time, the US administration denies reports of China’s supply of arms to the Russian Federation.

We have seen no evidence that China has transferred weapons or provided lethal assistance to Russia. But we remain concerned and continue to monitor the situation closely,” WP said quoting a senior administration official.

Earlier, Glavny Regionalny reported that Washington Post readers called Zelenskyy’s refusal to negotiate with the Russian Federation a “criminal”.
