Artist Vladimir Mikhailovsky died in Kaliningrad

In Kaliningrad, on Saturday, April 15, artist Vladimir Mikhailovsky died.

Vladimir Mikhailovsky was born on November 7, 1932 in Leningrad, graduated from the Leningrad Higher School of Art and Industry. V. Mukhina and came to work in the Kaliningrad region. He was 90 years old. This was reported by the press service of the Museum of the World Ocean.

“Today a wonderful artist and a great friend of the museum, Vladimir Mikhailovich Mikhailovsky, passed away. Throughout his long life, he was distinguished by an endless love for the sea,” the post reads.

The Museum noted that the marine theme became the main theme of the artist’s work after his business trip to the North Atlantic in 1963. More than 50 paintings were donated to the Museum of the World Ocean.

Earlier, The Eastern Herald in Kaliningrad reported that in the Kaliningrad region a man is suspected of killing a neighbor because of the remnants of moonlight.
