Clashes erupted between the regular army and the Rapid Support Forces in the Sudanese capital

In Sudan’s capital, the city of Khartoum, clashes broke out between the regular army and the paramilitary group “Rapid Support Forces” (SRF). About it on Saturday, April 15, informed Reuters.

The statement of the organization calls on the Sudanese to “come together at this critical moment in the history of the country and to denounce the cowardly behavior of the army”.

At the same time, the Sudanese army accused “Operational Support Forces” in an attempt to capture the army headquarters of the general command.

According to Sky News Arabia, all entrances to the presidential palace in Khartoum are blocked, the building is surrounded by armored vehicles of the Sudanese army.
