Due to the implementation of RCEP, trade between the member countries is increasing. Apart from China, 10 RCEP member countries participated in the current consumer goods expo. Exhibitors present at the fair hope to take advantage of new opportunities for continued cooperation and openness through the Consumer Goods Expo.
Thailand participated in the current consumer goods expo with 20 local well-known brands, including beauty, health and home life goods. Chan Liling, Thailand’s commercial consul in Quangzhou, said Thailand would like to export to Hainan and continue to strengthen mutual cooperation. Now China is Thailand’s largest trading partner. Last year, trade between Thailand and China’s Hainan province increased by 94 percent compared to the year 2021. The inherent development potential of Hainan Free Trade Port is great.
Reka Jaya, a Malaysian coffee plantation company, participated in the consumer goods expo for the first time. The person in charge, Quo Chingshun, expressed hope that the company’s global influence would be enhanced through the Consumer Goods Expo and the Hainan Free Trade Port. After the implementation of RCEP, trade exchanges between various member countries were increased. The company’s business has also expanded.
Indonesian coffee brand Firebot also participated in the consumer goods expo for the first time. The brand recently opened its first store in Haikou City, Hainan Province. Hope to cooperate with more enterprises of Hainan through consumer goods expo and enhance the development of coffee business in Hainan.
