Elena was an outstanding judoka who won numerous international awards and accolades. However, his main dream – to win the 2012 Olympics – never came true. The girl could not recover from this defeat, and a “dark streak” began in her life, ending in tragedy for all domestic sports.
Elena was born into a dysfunctional family, where her parents could not provide her with normal upbringing and care due to their personal problems. However, the girl was strong and purposeful, and she herself found her calling in sports. She started judo at the age of seventeen and very quickly became one of the best athletes in this sport. Lena won many international awards and dreamed of winning the Olympics.
After failing at the Olympics, Elena faced serious health and personal problems that drove her to despair. In 2013, 28-year-old Elena was found dead under the windows of her own home.
On the day of the tragedy, other athletes saw Elena in training: she was still smiling. Some time before the tragedy, she called her adoptive mother and her coach, but, unfortunately, the terrible thing could not be prevented. The reasons for her decision are not completely known, but from the found farewell notes, it was learned that the girl was tormented by “internal contradictions”. No one will know the truth. Unfortunately, the secret of death is hidden from everyone. Elena took it with her.
