Washington: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman met her Indonesian counterpart Mulani Indrawati during which the two leaders agreed to cooperate in areas important to developing economies. An officer gave this information. A finance ministry official said after the two leaders’ meeting on Friday that Indrawati extended her support to India’s chairmanship of the G20 and “agreed to cooperate in key areas for emerging market developing economies”. The year was the chairman of the G20. Both the leaders are here to attend the meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
