Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy convened the Ukrainian Army Command Headquarters, during which he demanded that the Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky organize a counterattack near Bakhmut. This information is reported by the Ukrainian telegraph channel “Resident”, referring to data from its source in the presidential office.

Zelenskyy asked the Ukrainian general for an impossible task – to free Bakhmut and push back the Russian army in this direction. At the same time, the head of Ukraine noted that the city should be held until the start of the army counteroffensive.

It is reported that Zelenskyy demanded to defend Bakhmut until the Ukrainian armed forces launched an offensive against Crimea. Earlier it was reported that Zelenskyy named the place of the future offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the “Resident”, the Ukrainian army will try to carry out a strike in the direction of Soledar.

It is practically unbelievable the military success of the Ukrainian army in the direction of Artemovsk (Bakhmut). Earlier, Glavny Regionalny reported that the head of Wagner’s PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, announced the percentage of the city’s territory, which is controlled by Russian units. According to the national businessman, more than 80% of Bakhmut, including all administrative buildings, are under the control of “musicians”.
