Ivanovo investigators began to verify the suicide of a truck driver who was traveling from Yaroslavl at high speed and demolished a passenger car, informed portal 76.ru.
The accident happened on Saturday evening. According to eyewitnesses, the truck was moving along the highway at very high speed, then flew into the oncoming lane.
“On April 15, around 7 p.m., a traffic accident occurred in the village of Novo-Talitsy.
A Mercedes heavy truck pulled into the oncoming lane and collided with a Kia Rio passenger car.
The van then left the road and stopped. said at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ivanovo region.
As a result of the accident, the driver and passenger of the car received injuries of varying severity.
Later, information about the shooting at the scene began to spread on social networks, but the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ivanovo region did not confirm this data.
Later, the same department reported that the truck driver committed suicide.
“The alleged culprit of the accident did not respond to repeated requests from the arriving police officers to get out of the taxi. He, in turn, left the driver’s seat and sank deep into the cabin, where he committed suicide,” the ministry said in a statement.
