The Ukrainian military command has announced that it is ready to shoot down Russian X-50 missiles, the serial production of which has not yet begun. The corresponding statement was made by the spokesman of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat. According to him, the X-50 missiles that Russia wants to produce, Ukraine is good to shoot down.
Their performance characteristics are no different from those of cruise missiles that the Russian Federation has already used in Ukraine. And Caliber, X-101 and X-555 are the missiles we shoot down. Maybe the X-50 is launched because it is cheaper, easier to produce, but it is an ordinary cruise missile

Russia’s readiness to start mass production of X-50 missiles was announced earlier by Alexei Gromov, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to reports, in June this year the Russian Federation plans to start mass production of strategic air-launched cruise missiles of the X-50 type, which will allow the Kremlin to intensify missile strikes on the territory of our country in the fall.

At the same time, he stressed that Moscow has no problems with the components necessary for the production of missiles.
The Kh-50 is an operational-tactical air-launched cruise missile with a range of 1,500 km. It is designed to destroy ground targets, including well-fortified targets. Its aircraft carriers are Tu-22M3M and Tu-160M bombers.
