Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Nepomniachtchi lost to Liren in Game 6

Russian Nepomniachtchi lost to Chinese Liren in game six of the Chess Crown match.

Russian grandmaster Ian Nepomniachtchi lost in Astana to Chinese representative Ding Liren in the sixth game of the World Chess Championship title match.

The Russian played with black pieces and was forced to admit defeat on the 44th move. The score of the match therefore equalized: 3-3.

Meanwhile, in the fifth installment, the Russian managed to come out on top and take the lead, but now he’s going to have to start all over sportingly. Already four of the six matches of the match between Nepomniachtchi and Liren ended with results, which is an indicator of the uncompromising fight on the board.

The next game will be on April 18. The price of the match for the world crown is 2 million euros.
