On her 74th birthday on April 15, popular artist Alla Pugacheva shared her thoughts on the final events of her life. Although the singer received many accolades from fans, some of them suggested that the idol was not in the happiest mood.
Music critic Artemy Troitsky * reported on social media that the singer gave him an original response to congratulations on his personal holiday. According to Troitsky, Pugacheva sent him a quatrain.
“There’s nothing shameful / Holding on to the ‘shameful’ pillar / In the age of duplicity / It gives greatness,” Pugacheva wrote.
In her post, Troitsky said the singer had attached a new photo to the poetic response, in which she smiles at the camera while standing in front of a lamppost on a sunny day.
We add that one of the most striking gifts for the singer’s birthday was the new song “Alla chantera”, which was presented by her daughter and colleague Kristina Orbakaite.
Alla Pugacheva has not performed on stage for several years and states that she is retired and no longer plans to work. However, promoter Sergei Lavrov claims the reason is that the oligarchs are not offering him enough money. Lavrov named the amount for which Pugacheva could be invited to speak at the event.
* Artemy Troitsky is entered by the Ministry of Justice of Russia in the register of persons acting as a foreign agent.
