The Ministry stresses the importance of the last ten days of Ramadan, and its keenness to pay zakat al-Fitr, a few days before the end of the month. In the last ten days of Ramadan, it is hoped that Laylat al-Qadr, in which God has made work in it better than a thousand months, and God has concealed it in order to see His faithful servants competing in it with all kinds of worship, and it is an opportunity for Muslims to strive to do good and supplicate to God. In the remaining days of the month of Ramadan, Muslims are keen to pay zakat al-fitr, which is considered the zakat of bodies that is obligatory on young and old, male and female. And because it is consolation, and a Muslim does not have to console without his strength.

The amount of zakat al-fitr for one person is two and a half kilos of the majority of the country’s food in which it is obligatory, and it is given to the poor and the needy, and it is sufficient to pay the value if the interest is determined in that, and it is estimated at 15 Qatari riyals. After the Eid prayer, but whoever forgets and takes it out after the prayer, there is nothing on him.

The last days of Ramadan are considered a special spiritual increase, as Muslims turn out to mosques to perform the Tarawih and Tahajjud prayers (qiyaam), and among them are those who retire in the House of God Almighty, to devote themselves to the worship of God alone. And Muslim scholars and jurists consider that the last ten days of Ramadan are tantamount to "The end of the training course on faith meanings, and heartfelt and physical worship"And they urge the Muslim to make the most of these blessed days at the end of Ramadan by increasing faith and doing righteous deeds and acts of worship. Muslim scholars these days are calling for a lot of prayer and supplication, and for preserving the regular Sunnahs, especially the confirmed ones.

And the best worship during the nights of the last ten nights is prayer, the length of standing, reading the Qur’an and contemplating its meanings, because the Qur’an during the ten nights is the source of knowledge and the source of knowledge, and it protects from temptation, in addition to the importance of increasing the remembrance of God Almighty, and for the Muslim to drink during the rest of Ramadan from remembrance. as he can.

The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs had identified 111 mosques in various regions of the country, to revive the year of i’tikaf during the last ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan for the current year. The ministry called on those wishing to perform i’tikaf to be keen on learning the jurisprudence of legal and beneficial i’tikaaf corresponding to the noble prophet’s guidance, and to commit to i’tikaaf in specific mosques, which took into account the geographical location, the fact that the mosque is a mosque, as well as the readiness of its facilities to serve the i’tikaaf.

The Ministry of Endowments also stipulated that the age of the person in retreat should not be less than 18 years, or to accompany the guardian if the age of the person in retreat is less than that, provided that it is not less than 8 years, stressing the importance of personal hygiene and cleanliness of the place of retreat, and preserving the property of the mosque as it is endowed to all Muslims. , while being careful not to disturb the worshipers with side conversations, and harm the people of the mosque in general.

On the other hand, Muslims in Qatar are keen to complete the preparations for the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, as the markets are witnessing an unprecedented movement, and a great demand for the acquisition of new clothes and everything necessary for the feast. Preparations for Eid al-Fitr continue until the last night of Ramadan, or what is known as "Eid night". The atmosphere of the end of Ramadan in Qatar is characterized by special aspects, as shops open until late at night, and the movement in the markets is very active, especially in Souq Waqif, which is witnessing a great demand from customers due to the goods it contains that meet the requirements of Qatari families.

Men in Qatar prepare themselves well in advance of the Eid by going to the sewing shops to tailor the Eid dress, and focus on going to the stores in the last days of Ramadan to buy the ghutra and the headband.

Likewise, women are keen to buy new clothes for themselves and their children, as they buy modern clothes or embroidered jalabiyas, as well as dresses for young girls. Sweets are also of special importance in the feast. In Qatar, the sweets that are offered to guests on the day of the feast are called "Fala"It contains popular sweets such as Aseeda, Luqaimat, Balaleet and Khabees, and currently it also includes some oriental sweets such as Kunafa and Basbousa, as well as various fruits that are offered to guests. As that "Oud and incense" They are considered among the features of the Gulf house because they represent a sign of hospitality, as the oud and incense trade thrives in the last ten days of Ramadan, and there is a high demand for them along with other perfumes, as oud is used by men and women alike.
