Players still note regular crashes and the deplorable general technical state of The Last of Us Part 1 on PC. However, some improvements are still seen for example, shader compilation sometimes takes a few minutes less (it could well take an hour), and players report that they fixed the camera shake issue when controlling the mouse.
For some, The Last of Us Part 1 is now performing worse and someone is trying in vain to find a difference in performance.
