Travelers looking to save on sightseeing trips should pay attention to the list of cities selected by UK retailer Cotswold Outdoor. The list of places for the best budget vacations in 2023 turned out to be unexpected, according to TurProm.

When preparing the rating, experts took into account a number of parameters of a tourist trip that are important for saving money. They rated cities on the following criteria: average cost of a grocery cart, housing affordability, crime rate, mobile internet speed, public transport prices, free attractions .

Accordingly, for the budget it will be more profitable this year to go on vacation to such places as:

Yerevan Baku Bangkok Hanoi Seoul Madrid Budapest Sofia Beijing Vienna

According to the authors of the list, the average cost of hostels among rulers is 15-17 dollars per day (1200-1400 rubles). A tourist will spend 13 dollars (a little over a thousand rubles) for a set of basic goods in Yerevan. In Baku, a trip to the store will cost even less – $ 11 (about 900 rubles). But in Bangkok, the cheapest street cafes – you can eat here from 1.5 dollars (from 120 rubles). True, the crime rate in the Thai capital is much higher than in other cities in the ranking, the compilers warned.
