The second volume of a study on the history of the village of Krasnaya Polyana has been published by Sochi. The two parts of the work, written by Dmitry Andreev, were published in 500 copies, said the press service of the city administration. The story of Krasnaya Polyana was published with the support of the resort Rosa Khutor.
“I have collected the materials of the monograph from hundreds of archival documents, I hope that my work will be useful both to scientific researchers and to the widest circle of lovers of Krasnaya Polyana and the surrounding mountains”, noted the author of the work. .
The book includes events that took place in the village in the 20th century. Dmitry Andreev reflects the historical development of Krasnaya Polyana, including with the help of famous people who visited the settlement.
The author also provides a family list of the inhabitants of the village and the buildings of the 1920s. In addition to the text, the reader will find in the book photographs, diagrams and maps. According to the press service of the Sochi administration, Dmitry Andreev became the first author to describe the history of Krasnaya Polyana.
