Tver Governor Igor Rudenya brought Easter cakes to soldiers of the Northern Military District

The head of the Upper Volga region spoke with the volunteers of the Volga tank battalion, the chief of staff of the regiment, Hero of Russia Rail Gabdrakhmanov and the servicemen of the battalion

On April 15, on the eve of Easter, Governor Igor Rudenya met with servicemen from the Tver region and other regions of Russia in the frontline zone of a special military operation. With the blessing of Metropolitan Ambrose of Tver and Kashin, Abbot Sergius (Kuksov), rector of the Hermitage of the Ascension of David, took part in the trip. And also Olga Levitina, head of the headquarters of the Tver volunteers “Help to Donbass”, which collects and sends humanitarian supplies to the Donbass with the participation of caring residents of the Upper Volga region.

Igor Rudenya spoke with volunteers of the Volga tank battalion, the chief of staff of the regiment, Hero of Russia Rail Gabdrakhmanov, and servicemen of the battalion from various regions of the country.

During the conversation, questions were raised related to the performance of the service, the organization of life. The soldiers received ammunition, tools and equipment, as well as basic necessities. All these things were collected in accordance with their wishes. In addition, a car was purchased for carrying out combat missions.

Assistance was provided not only to representatives of the Tver region, but also to other soldiers of the unit.

During the communication with the governor, everyone was able to ask a question on a current topic. On all calls, Igor Rudenya asked the responsible regional departments to provide maximum assistance in their solution.

The main gift on the eve of Easter for the military were letters and drawings of children from Tver with congratulations, poems and wishes, Easter cakes and festive Easter sets. A prayer service was held for the fighters and Easter cakes were consecrated.

The head of the region stressed that everything necessary for daily life and service will be provided more. Regional government employees will continue to liaise with the fighters on all issues.

The military thanked the governor, the government of the Tver region, residents and activists of the Upper Volga region for the gifts, attention and timely resolution of all emerging issues.

Recall that Igor Rudenya also visited the frontline zone of the Northern Military District in December 2022. Then the head of the region spoke with volunteers of the Volga Battalion, fighters of the unit of aviation of the Upper Volga region, handed over necessary things, gifts and letters from residents of the Tver region.
