About three thousand examinations were performed on the new fluorograph in Slavsk in six months.
Medical equipment was purchased as part of a regional project to modernize primary health care. The fluorograph was installed in mid-October last year. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Kaliningrad region.
The cost of equipment is 7.5 million rubles jointly allocated from the federal and regional budgets.
“The advantage of the device is that it is digital. It has high image processing speed, clearer images,” said Svetlana Povetko, chief physician of Slavska Central District Hospital.
In addition, over the past two years, two endoscopic complexes, a high-frequency electrosurgical gynecological apparatus for resection and coagulation, three functional beds for intensive care wards with bedside tables and four cars have appeared in the hospital of the central district of Slavska.
Earlier, The Eastern Herald in Kaliningrad reported that a delegation from St. Petersburg visited medical facilities in Kaliningrad.
