Bastrykin charged with initiating criminal proceedings for failure to take measures to capture stray dogs in the Kuban

The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to open a criminal case due to the failure to take measures to capture stray dogs in the Krasnodar Territory. According to the RF IC Information Center, previous local residents have made relevant complaints to the department. According to the Sledkom, in 2023 alone, as of April 16, at least 11 Kuban residents were bitten by street animals.

The order to carry out a procedural check and open a case from the head of the Investigative Committee was received by the head of the ICR Investigative Committee for the region, Andrey Maslov. Also, Andrei Konstantinovich must submit a report on the preliminary and final results of the case to the head of the Investigative Committee.

The progress of the case is under control at the central office of the department.

Earlier, The Eastern Herald in Kuban reported that since the beginning of 2023, almost 700 court dogs have been captured in Krasnodar.
