New Delhi. In the African country Sudan, a fierce battle has started between the soldiers to capture the power of the country and today is the second day of the war. The death toll in Sudan’s capital Khartoum and other areas between the army and paramilitary forces has risen to more than 80, while more than 1,100 people have been injured. The World Health Organization (WHO) has given this information.

The WHO said on Sunday that since April 13, more than 83 people have been killed and 1,126 injured in the conflict in Khartoum province, South Kordofan, North Darfur, Northern State and other regions. Fighting between the army and the RSF is now centered in the city of Khartoum, with many hospitals reporting shortages of blood transfusion equipment and medical supplies.

Significantly, there was a clash between the army and the RSF on Saturday, the center of which was the city of Khartoum. Government forces accused the RSF of mutiny and launched air raids on their positions. The RSF claimed control of the presidential palace in Khartoum and the airport in Merowe. The Rashtriya Sena has vehemently denied the RSF’s claims of control of the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

It is noteworthy that late on Saturday night, the Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, issued a decree disbanding the RSF.

RSF released a statement agreeing to open the humanitarian corridor for four hours. Clashes between the two armed forces in Sudan continued on Sunday. The Sudanese Armed Forces have agreed to a UN proposal to open a humanitarian corridor for three hours from 4 pm yesterday.
