Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov urged heads of municipalities not to rush to turn off the heating. The subject of heating was raised today, April 17, during the operational meeting of members of the government. The reason for this is the increase in the number of requests related to this topic. Belgorod SDG recorded an increase from 13 to 254 cases.
The governor noted that so far the closure decision has not been made. He asked heads of county and district administrations to closely monitor the daily average temperature.
“So far, it is absolutely clear that residents have been right not to turn off the heating in apartment buildings prematurely. Of course, with the weather now, with such a strong wind, everyone would have frozen long ago and we would have a lot of negativity,” the governor said.
Vyacheslav Gladkov urged local governments to control the situation and wait for the temperature to rise. If you follow the regulations, the decision to turn off the heating must be made after five consecutive days where the average daily temperature remains at 8 degrees Celsius and above.
