A resident of Yekaterinburg learned that he won a column in order to extort money from him, writes E1.ru.

The reader shared with the publication screenshots of correspondence with scammers who came up with a new scheme. “Letters of happiness” are sent to the victim, where the winnings are reported, and then the scammers offer to leave a review on the product and deliver the prize by Russian post. They indicate the addresses of real household appliance stores.

The reader replied that he would take the column himself. However, the bot was not embarrassed – in response, it began to write about the rules for processing the delivery. To convince the young man that he was not deceived, the scammers even sent him a photo of a girl with a passport and documents.

The young man did not send any data to the attackers and paid nothing. Soon the scammers sent him the mailing number with the winnings. The track turned out to be real – a parcel from Voronezh is tracked there.
