Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) revealed that the Planning and Quality Department in KAHRAMAA completed 50 percent of the approved annual plan for qualifying and training the organization’s cadres, with the participation of 356 employees.
The Foundation said, in a statement, that the Planning and Quality Department has been holding training courses on "Quality awareness and technical training"At a regular pace, through which the cadres and technicians from the various departments and specializations within which the Corporation operates are targeted to manage and supervise the electricity and water sector in the State of Qatar, in order to achieve the highest levels of quality in terms of all services provided by KAHRAMAA to the Qatari community, pointing to the focus of these training courses It mainly depends on the human factor, and its endeavor to promote a culture of quality within the technical departments and its projects in particular, so that this is reflected in the overall work of the institution and all its departments.
She pointed out that the awareness and strategic training provided by the administration resulted in a remarkable increase in the level of commitment of the executive departments in KAHRAMAA to quality standards, as this commitment reached remarkable rates in the field of electricity distribution amounting to 98.45 percent, and in the field of water-related maintenance it reached 94 percent. He scored 91 percent in electricity projects, pointing out that the Electric Distribution Department recorded the highest participation rate with 95 employees, followed by other departments, during the first quarter of the current year 2023.

Youssef Al-Jaidah, Director of Planning and Quality Department at KAHRAMAA, said that this type of technical training constitutes an essential pillar in the process of achieving the quality standards that the Corporation sets very carefully, through which it aims to develop the Corporation’s work in its various departments and divisions, to fulfill its national responsibility and duty. In the best possible way, by providing electricity and water services to the community and the state, and to be in conformity with the best international standards of quality, considering that education and awareness sessions of the importance of quality play an important role in shaping an institutional environment that adopts quality as a permanent method of work.
It is worth noting that the Planning and Quality Department in Kahramaa has obtained certificates in previous years "iso" It follows the process of adherence to quality standards and institutional performance in all the works and projects of the Corporation, and also contributes to cooperation with government agencies from ministries and institutions to improve the status of the electricity and water sector in the State of Qatar in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
