More than 42,000 children in Bashkortostan go to school on school buses

All new buses meet the requirements of GOST

Schools in Bashkiria received 45 new buses, which will replenish school fleets in 31 districts of the republic. Head of the Republic of Belarus Radiy Khabirov presented the keys of new passenger cars to directors of educational institutions in front of the Toratau Congress Hall in Ufa.

– Over the past 4.5 years, we have purchased more than 800 school buses, half – at the expense of the regional budget, the other half – at the expense of the Russian budget. And we will continue this work, – said Radiy Faritovich. – I want to say special words of gratitude to the drivers, the morning of 40,000 of our children begins with a meeting with them. We will try to further improve the working conditions of the drivers and increase their salaries. It is important to us that our students travel comfortably and safely.

All new buses meet the requirements of GOST. Their bodies have a yellow color and reflective markings, the inscription “Children” and the sign “Transporting children” are applied to them. All cars are equipped with a speed limiter up to 60 kilometers per hour, buttons for communication with the driver and an engine blocking system with open doors. The cars have position tracking navigation equipment and a rear side door lock.

“In 2023, 45 new GAZ buses were delivered to Bashkiria as part of the All-Russian school park renewal program,” added the press service of the head of the region. – Eight of them with additional interior insulation – for the northern regions.

Recall that in total on the territory of Bashkiria, 42,253 students from 876 schools in 2,758 localities of the region are covered by transport to and from their place of study.
