Jaipur. Poonam Ankur Chhabra, who ignited the drug-free movement in the country and abroad and took over the reins of the prohibition movement, demanded the Chief Minister to make Suratgarh a district and make the state drug-free. Suratgarh demands to resolve the matter by holding talks with the agitators. Reference was made to the movement going on in Suratgarh for the last one month.

Poonam Chhabra said that until the state becomes drug-free, the liquor shops should be operated according to excise rules, the sale of liquor in the state is in full swing after eight o’clock in the night, it should be stopped immediately. Along with this, it is illegal to install signboards and hoardings on liquor shops, they should be removed immediately.

The Chief Minister gave a positive assurance and said that talks will be held with the residents of Suratgarh soon and assured that the shops will be operated in the state only according to excise rules.
