Production of smoked and dried fish will be launched in Novy Urengoy

The new enterprise, which will be launched in Novy Urengoy in the fall of 2023, will produce fish products. Nordic and marine fish species will serve as the basis. Oksana Murashko, Deputy Head of Administration of Novy Urengoy, announced this on her Telegram channel.

“Already in September of this year, a new enterprise will open in the southern part of Novy Urengoy, which will produce hot and cold smoked northern and sea fish, dried fish of northern species, semi- frozen finish and the highest quality snack products,” Murashko said.

To this end, the administration of Novy Urengoy is implementing an investment project to create a production enterprise for deep processing of fish and fish products. According to the deputy head, 134 units of the necessary equipment have already been purchased for municipal ownership.
