The department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs invites young residents of Smolensk to participate in the contest “Police Uncle Styopa”

The Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Smolensk region, together with the Public Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, organizes the regional stage of the 10th All-Russian contest of children’s creativity “Police Uncle Styopa”, intended for to increase the prestige of the service in the organs of internal affairs and to form a positive public opinion on the activities of the police.

Residents of the Smolensk region can participate in a creative competition in three age categories:

  • from 6 to 8 years old;
  • from 9 to 11 years old;
  • from 12 to 14 years old.

As part of the competition, children can try their hand at making thematic crafts dedicated to the 305th anniversary of the Russian police and the 40th anniversary of the formation of the press services in the system of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs and public relations units of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation.

To participate in the competition, thematic counterfeits must be sent to the Ministry of Internal Affairs by May 1, 2023 with the note “for the Police Uncle Styopa competition” at the address: Smolensk, st. Dzerzhinsky, D. 13, rooms No. 325 and 326. At the same time, the work must be accompanied by an application, in which a brief note about the authors, the name of the craft and a description of the materials used are indicated .

Also, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Smolensk region noted that the three best works will participate in the All-Russian phase of the competition.
