In the region of Oryol, on the territory of the Pedagogical College of Mezen, an ethno-performance “Tales from the province of Oryol” will take place. The event is scheduled for April 21. Tickets for shows can be purchased with the Pushkin Card. This was reported by the BUK NGO “Oryol Regional Folk Art Center”.
As part of the program, the audience will be presented with VN Legends of Glagolev and legends of the Novosilsky region. In addition, fairy tales from the Bolkhovsky region will be heard, preserved at the beginning of the 20th century thanks to the anthropologist, writer IF Kalinikov. In the texts of fairy tales, the features of the Orel dialect have been preserved.
Creative groups and soloists from the region will perform on stage, presenting authentic folk and daily dances from the Orel region. As part of the performance, winners of competitions and festivals from all over Russia, as well as folk and folk ensembles will participate.
