The inhabitants of Penza will be able to come for the blessed fire in the temples of the city

The evening service at the Spassky Cathedral in Penza, which began at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 16, was marked by the delivery of the sacred fire from Saransk.

Metropolitan Seraphim of Penza and Nizhnelomovsk led the service, which lasted 40 minutes. After that, candles with a blessed fire were delivered to all the churches in the city.

During Bright Week, from Monday 17 April, the residents of Penza will be able to receive the fire of a sacred candle. In the Spassky Cathedral, you can get a piece of fire at any time of temple work.

The holy fire came from Jerusalem and believers all over the world, including the people of Penza, waited anxiously.

On the eve of the Easter celebration, federal media reported that the holy fire descended in Jerusalem around 1:00 p.m.
