As part of the Republican Tulip Festival in the Oktyabrsky district of Kalmykia, on April 22, a contest-festival of rice dishes will be held.
The administration of the RMO invites working collectives, organizations, rural municipalities to participate in the competition.
“The purpose of the competition is to create a communication platform for the interaction of cultures based on a single crop of rice as one of the main cereals grown in Oktyabrsky district,” the local government said.
Competitors were asked to pay attention to the assortment of rice dishes, the decoration of the table and the taste of the cooked dishes.
Winners will receive cash prizes: for first place – 20,000 rubles, second and third – 15 and 10,000 rubles, respectively.
