An orienteer from Karelia won a gold medal at the North-West Championship

At the championship of the North-Western Federal District in orienteering, held in Pskov, a Karelian athlete stood out. As the audience reported “Sport is the norm of life in Karelia”, a student of the Petrozavodsk sports school No. 2 managed to win a gold medal following the results of three days of competition. Sergey Zubov picked up the win, speaking in the Boys Under-17 group.

In addition, Karelian orienteers showed good results in the framework of the crown of glory competition of Alexander Nevsky, which also took place in Pskov. Anastasia Glazunova proved to be the best, battling for victory in the girls and boys 12, Yordan Aina took silver and Matvienko Saveliy was in the top five.
