The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Kolokoltsev, said that criminal groups under the control of Ukraine involve Russian citizens in the distribution of drugs and that Ukrainian special services use a polygraph to control “their” drug dealers.
The official representative of the Ministry of Interior of Russia, Irina Volk, said that a meeting of the joint council of ministries of interior of the Union State was held in Moscow.
Kolokoltsev highlighted the threat to national security posed by the activities of foreign intelligence services and nationalist organizations.
“The facts of the involvement of citizens in the distribution of drugs in Russia by criminal groups controlled by the Kiev regime have been documented,” he told RIA Novosti.
Previously, the Russian government had approved a draft law providing for a total ban on the promotion of drug trafficking.
