Former police lieutenant colonel sentenced in the Nizhny Novgorod region to nine and a half years

In the Arzamas district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, a conviction was issued under the articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provide for liability for accepting a bribe with its extortion, fraud and attempted fraud, abuse of power.

The former – now already the head of the department of labor with the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Arzamas established a system of requisitions from subordinates for general patronage in the service and even to receive payments to them were due by law. In particular, the convict received 80,000 rubles for signing the conclusion of an internal audit of the circumstances in which his subordinate was injured – to calculate the insurance payment.

The former lieutenant colonel will serve his sentence in a strict regime colony.
