In the Belgorod region, a malicious violator of traffic rules was punished. Two criminal cases have been filed against a drunk driver without a license, the press service of the regional interior ministry reported.
The source reports that on the evening of April 9, in the village of Tavrovo-2, traffic inspectors stopped a driver driving a Ford Scorpio. When checking the documents, it turned out that the motorist was intoxicated. Also, earlier the man was deprived of his driver’s license due to drunk driving. Despite this, he continued to drive, including while intoxicated. For this, he was prosecuted for administrative and criminal liability.
Two criminal cases were initiated under Part 2 of Article 264.1 and Part 1 of Article 264.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The driver faces up to three years in prison.
